Sexual violence in several educational institutions becomes a paradox between the development of science/morality and the behavior of some of its members. This condition constructs the need for action to be taken so that similar things do not recur in other educational institutions. The role of the government through policy instruments is one of the efforts to prevent sexual violence that may occur in other educational institutions. The research method used in this article is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach; secondary data is used as the primary data in analyzing the substance of research on sexual violence in educational institutions. The results of the analysis revealed that the government is the main institution that has a role to be able to solve the problem of sexual violence in educational institutions; this is because the provision of education is a form of government responsibility; every educational institution should be bound to the government’s policies. On this basis, the policy recommendations are oriented to three main things: promoting anti-sexual violence education policies, increasing coordination between stakeholders in implementing anti-sexual violence education, and efforts to encourage anti-sexual violence values and culture in the educational environment.
